19 JAMES F. McMULLEN has been ap pointed manager of energy and cap ital purchases in the Fine Paper and Film Group. He was senior engineer associate in the Technical Depart ment prior to this assignment. He joined Olin’s General Research or ven. He moved ganization at New Haven, Conn., in September 1953, and became main tenance superin tendent of the Nu clear Fuel Divi sion before trans ferring to the Film Division’s R e- search and Devel opment Depart ment at New Ha- to Film Division headquarters at Pisgah Forest with relocation of the R & D organiza tion. He later served as director of the department's Engineering and Services section, technical ser vice manager, and assistant to the director of production. He was man ager of the Film Evaluation Group before moving into the Technical Department. Born at Poughkeepsee, N. Y., he graduated from high school at Pelham, N. Y., and earned his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University. He served with the U. S. Navy during World War II. A registered professional engineer, he is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Research Society of America. *** DAVID C. LUEHRMAN has been appointed manager for the sale of Fine Paper and Film Group products in Africa, the Middle East and the Canary Islands. He came to Pisgah Forest in January 1975 as interna tional sales representative for the Ecusta Paper Division. He had been with the former Polyester Division at Greenville, and before that had worked with Cardinal Associates in Charlotte, the Memorex Corp, in Santa Clara Calif., and the GAF Corporation in Binghamton, N. Y. and Los Angeles. He served with the U. S. Naval Air Reserve for five years. A native of Newton, Mass., he graduated from Northwestern High School at Hyattsville, Md. He has a B.S. de gree in Photo graphic Tech nology from the Rochester Insti tute of Tech nology, and took graduate courses at American Uni versity, the Uni versity of Mary land, UCLA, and Furman University. He is a member of Delta Lambda Epsilon, profes sional photographic fraternity; the Society of Photographic Scientists and Engineers; the Society of Photo graphic Instrumentation Engineers; and Professional Photographers of America, for which he has lectured on color printing at regional con ventions. WILLIAM M. MILLNER, JR., has been promoted to materials super intendent in the Ecusta Paper Di vision. He was supervisor of pro duction planning before this move. He had worked in Ecusta’s Conver ting Department for five years be fore joining the staff of Western Carolina Univers ity. He was assis tant to the direc tor of University Center when he returned to Ecus ta in April 1970 as a production planner. A Bre vard native and graduate of Bre vard High School, he earned his B.S. degree in Business Administration at Western Carolina University. He belonged to the Circle K Club and Kappa Alpha Order while in college, and participated in the WCU pre- season conference in 1969. He is a member of the American Production and Inventory Control Society, Inc. JAMES EARL BUMGARNER has been appointed foreman in the Gum- ming-Repse-Reaming Department of the Ecusta Paper Division. He transferred to Ecusta from the Film Division where he was a supervisor of fin ishing. Employed in May 1952 in Wrap and Pack, he was named re lief foreman in 1971 and was promoted to foreman the next year. A native of Canton, he is a grad uate of Candler High School. He served with the U. S. Navy for four years. LAMBERT C. POOR has been ap pointed reporting coordinator in the Accounting Department of the Fine Paper and Film Group. He was staff analyst in the de partment prior to this appointment. With Olin since 1950, he has worked princi pally in produc tion and inventory accounting. He is a native of Bre vard and attended Brevard High School and Bre vard College. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. LEWIS G. CLARK has been ap ¬ pointed material and stores super visor in the Film Division plant at Pisgah Forest. He was with E. I. duPont’s con struction crew in 1950 in the early phases of the cell ophane plant con struction, and spent the next two years with
